The marathon meeting chaired by the Prime Minister on Kashmir ended without any consensus on the Armed Forces Special Powers Act (AFSPA) on Wednesday.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had been campaigning for withdrawing AFSPA from parts of his state, that’s not going to happen for now.
The meeting, attended by leaders of all major political parties, however, decided that an all-party delegation will visit J&K soon.
