Twenty-three professors on Wednesday demanded removal of the present Khatib of Baitul Mokarram National Mosque Prof Maulana Salahuddin Ahmed saying that the Khatib has lost his qualification as the chief of the mosque.
In a joint statement they said, “The post of Khatib of the national mosque is honorable, but Salahuddin Ahmed has proved his disqualification for the post.
