Bangladesh marked one step back in the Global Competitiveness Report 2010-11 due to some specific reasons like poor infrastructure, inefficient bureaucracy and inadequate power supply.
The report assessed by World Economic Forum (WEF) showed that the country’s position is 107 out of 139 countries.
However, Switzerland retained its first position and the USA to claim the second position.
Only Bangladesh, India and Pakistan’s positions have gone down than that of others developing countries. [Read More]
