The BNP has said presidential pardon to 20 death-row convicts for murdering a leader of the main opposition party’s youth front was against the rule of law.
Shabbir Ahmed Gama, a Juba Dal leader, was shot dead in 2004. The pardon of President Zillur Rahman following a verdict of the lower court and much before a full trial process had been exhausted.
