10,000 cops deployed on Eid eve in city

At least 10,000 security forces, including 5,000 troops of additional Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), have been deployed in the city’s bus terminals to ensure safety of home-goers during Eid-ul-Fitr.
Dhaka Metropolitan police (DMP) and the RAB have already taken intensive security measures for the Eid holidays.
The elite force RAB has already engaged its 5,000 additional members in the capital to ensure foolproof security for the city dwellers alongside police. [Read More]
