Eyewitness of the BDR mutiny Major Zayedi Ahsan Habib on Monday told the court that Subedar Major Gofran Mallick of the 24th Rifles Battalion led the mutiny in which 73 people including 57 military officials were killed on February 25-26 last year.
“The conspiracy and planning for the mutiny was finalized at his residence which was ultimately turned into a concentration camp at that time,” he said in his statement before the Special Court number-5 at Darbar Hall of BDR headquarters here.
