Hundreds of vehicles remain stranded in traffic jams at most of the important points in the capital ahead of the Eid.
The Government’s effort to ease nagging traffic congestion has failed due to shortage of equipment and lack of coordination among the agencies.
Witnesses said the traffic system was disrupted on the city roads. Long tailbacks were seen on almost all the roads.
