A group of Dhaka University (DU) students yesterday vandalised nearly a dozen of vehicles at TSC area following a road mishap that injured a DU teacher.
The injured teacher was identified as Prof Dr Sukomol Barua of the Department of Pali and Buddhist Studies.
Eyewitnesses said Prof Barua was returning his residence from the campus by a rickshaw. When he reached near Jagannath Hall gate at about 1:30pm, a private car hit his rickshaw. He fell down from the rickshaw and got injured.
He was immediately taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital. [Read More]
