The High Court yesterday stayed the Government decision that canceled parole of Arafat Rahman Koko, younger son of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia till October 4.
A bench of the HC Judges Md Abdul Wahhab Miah and Dr Quazi Reza-ul Hoque passed the order upon a writ petition challenging the decision.
The court also asked the Government to explain within the period why its decision should not be declared illegal.
It asked Koko to report to the Bangladesh embassy in Thailand in every three days. [Read More]
