EU Ambassador in Dhaka Stephan Frowein on Thursday expressed disappointment over persisting “hostile” politics here with parliament not functioning well, but hoped the country would not face the situation like that of 1/11.
“Still the country is in confrontational politics as before. Hostile relation has not changed…This is a pity that this confrontational politics and non-functional parliament will impact on the future parliament and politics,” he said.
Ambassador Frowein made the critical observations at a meeting with the members of Diplomatic Correspondents Association Bangladesh (DCAB) over an iftar at Hotel Sheraton. [Read More]
