Politicians, educationists and water experts at a roundtable discussion yesterday opined that all political parties of the country forgetting petty differences should unite on a common platform to stop the construction of Tipaimukh dam at the upper reaches of the rivers Surma and Kushiara.
Some of them underscored the need for organising an all-party ‘long march’ towards the dam saying that the dam would bring negative impacts on Bangladesh and different states in India. [Read More]
