Teachers are frequently becoming targets of the cadres of ruling party’s student organisation, Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), on the Dhaka University (DU) campus.
For the last few months, more than 11 teachers were assaulted on the campus by the arrogant leaders and activists of the organisation. But actions were taken against a very few culprits of the incidents. As a result, such kind of incidents are on rise.
Senior teachers of the university have expressed their anxiety over the matter and demanded proper administrative steps against the so called student leaders and activists to uphold the dignity of the teachers. [Read More]
