Missions failed to achieve export target in last fiscal

Major Bangladesh missions abroad - Washington, Berlin, Rome, Madrid, The Hague, London and Paris - could not achieve the export target set for them in the last fiscal as the overall export earnings for the year fell 7.93 percent short of the target.
The actual export earnings for fiscal 2009-10 was $ 16204.65 million against the target of $ 17600 million, which was 4.11 percent more than the previous year (2008-09) but 7.93 percent less than the target. [Read More]
