RMG workers go berserk again at N’ganj, Ashulia

Angry readymade garment workers in Narayanganj and Savar have yesterday again took to the streets, damaged vehicles, vandalized garment factories and clashed with law enforcers demanding Tk 5,000 as monthly minimum wages.
Some of the labour leaders on Sunday night at a tripartite meeting with factory owners and labour minister have agreed Tk 3,000 as monthly minimum wage and urged the workers to join in the work.
But barely after 12 hours after of the agreement thousands of RMG workers took to the streets on Monday. [Read More]
