Corruption during BNP tenure deepens power crisis: PM, 150 MW power plant opened at Chandpur

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday held past BNP-Jamaat alliance government responsible for the country’s existing power crisis saying their corruption and taking commission from the power sector has deepened the crisis.
“The BNP-Jamaat government must answer to the public for not adding a single megawatt of electricity to the national grid during their five-year tenure before threatening the present government for the crisis,” she said.
