The Ministry of Commerce in assistance of the Ministry of Labour is going to put pressure on apparel factory owners to expedite the activities of social and environmental compliance, eco-efficiency and occupational health and safety of workers.
To this effect the Commerce Ministry next week will write to the Labour ministry to ask the apparel factory owners to speed up their compliance activities as most of the buyers prefer compliance factories. Apparel good buyers are pressing for long to make the factories compliance. [Read more]
