Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has assured visiting premier Sheikh Hasina during their summit talks that regarding construction of the much-talked-about Tipaimukh Dam India wouldn’t do anything that harms Bangladesh’s
economy, people and environment.
“The Indian Prime Minister, during my talks with him, has assured me that India will not do anything harmful to Bangladesh,” Hasina said Tuesday in reply to a question over her talks with Dr Manmonhan Singh over the issue of Tipaimukh Dam. [Read more]
