The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has detected 21 types of allegations against mutineers involved in the carnage at the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) Headquarters at Peelkhana, police sources said. The six special courts will try these persons accusing them of committing the 21 types of criminal acts committed on February 25 and 26 last year.
Investigation Officer (IO) Abdul Kahar Akhand told reporters that the investigation was complete but the final reports is likely to be submitted by the end of January. [Read more]
