Inspector General of Police (IGP) Nur Mohammad Wednesday urged his police force to think about their own safety as 26 policemen were killed in different incidents in 2009 alone.
“Perform your duties carefully and avoid the incidents that might take your own lives,” the IGP said while addressing a function at Rajarbagh Police Lines Auditorium.
The IGP directed the unit chiefs of police to provide guidelines to the policemen working under their leadership to avoid the incidents that may put their lives at risk. [Read more]
