Different organisations yesterday protested the remark of Abdur Razzak MP, Chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Water Resources Ministry, who on Thursday after the standing committee’s meeting told journalists that the Tipaimukh Dam Project of India would not harm Bangladesh. Rather Bangladesh would be able to take advantage of the project.
President of Sylhet Division Development Action Council (SDDAC) Advocate Abed Raza and its general secretary Najmul Islam Naj strongly protested and condemned the controversial remark of Razzak. [Read more]
