The Government will start second round talks with the US oil company ConocoPhilips from January 14 for offshore gas and oil exploration.
In a letter to the Ministry last week, Petrobangla Chairman Hossain Monsoor informed that the US company wants to talk with the Petrobangla on production sharing contract (PSC) on offshore blocks on January 14.
“ConocoPhilips will discuss with us on revision of the draft PSC on offshore blocks which it secured recently,” he said. [Read more]
