The government will recruit at least 17,000 police to help curb extremists in the country’s south western parts, said IGP Noor Mohammad yesterday
He said the police are fully equipped to face subversive act or any attempt by ULFA on the Prime Minister.
“As of now, we don’t have any information about ULFA activities or staging such incidents. Since the matter is being discussed in the media, we’ve enough preparations to face it,” he told
