In that case, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, may get the post of senior joint secretary general of the party, insiders said.
Nazrul Islam Khan and other leaders may be accommodated in the expanded standing committee as its members.
Sources said, the names of new secretary general and senior joint secretary general may be announced before the reported visit of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia to London, which is likely to be in the next week. [Read more]
