Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India scheduled for December 19 has been postponed.
Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni made this announcement yesterday while briefing reporters at the Ministry yesterday.
She said the Prime Minister’s four-day visit to India was not possible on December 19 as both the Bangladesh and Indian Prime Minister would join the Copenhagen Summit on Climate Change on December 18, a day ahead of the planned visit.
The Foreign Minister said now the Prime Minister’s visit may defer to January 10 and 11.
