The city witnessed less traffic jams on Sunday compared with other days due to strict implementation of traffic rules.
Most of the vehicles followed their own lanes as earmarked by the Traffic department on Friday.
The Traffic department also seized fake driving licences and confiscated vehicles without valid papers.
Besides traffic police have been seen using loudspeakers asking the pedestrians and vehicle drivers to follow the traffic rules.
The move by the traffic police helped in reducing traffic tailback, city dwellers told the New Nation correspondent. [Read more]
