Unidentified assailants on Thursday night gunned down a middle-aged motor parts businessman in the city under Shah Ali police station in Mirpur area.
The victim was identified as Abul Kalam Azad (40).
On information, police recovered the body from Block-F at Mirpur-1 yesterday morning.
The officer-in-charge of the Shah Ali Police Station told The New Nation that they recovered the bullet-hit body after being informed by locals. Police sent the body to the Dhaka Medical college hospital morgue for autopsy.
Family sources claimed Azad was killed following previous enmity. [Read more]
