Dhaka Metropolitan Police commissioner AKM Shahidul Hoque on Saturday claimed that the police so far did not find any information from the three suspected Laskar-e-Taiyeba (LeT)-men to file regular case against them. They were earlier arrested from Chittagong.
The Detective Branch (DB) of police had picked up the three persons Mufti Harun Izahar, 33, Shahidul Islam, 26; and Al Amin alias Saiful from Lalkhan Bazar madrassa and brought them to the city.
It is the DMP detective police who accused the arrested trio of hatching conspiracy to attack the US Embassy in Dhaka. [Read more]
