Pakistani militant organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jamaat-Ud-Dohar headed by Hafiz Mohammad Sayeed allegedly gave instruction over phone for the planned attack on the US Embassy in Dhaka.
During interrogation detained Madrasa teacher Mufti Harun reportedly told the investigating agencies on the second of remand that LeT chief had instructed him over telephone about the attack when he reached near the US Embassy on 28 October.
Another LeT leader Mahmud Ahmed Beyzeed has reportedly provided financial support and sent Tk 6 lakh accordingly for the attack, DB source said. [Read more]
