The Dhaka University Authority temporarily expelled five students with alleged ties to Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), who were caught earlier while mugging a flower trader beside the campus.
They are Mehrab Hossain, second-year student of Bangla Department, Kudrat-e-Khuda, second-year student and Zaman Miah, third-year student of Islamic History Department, Zahid, second-year student of Statistics Department and Rumman Hossain Sunny, second-year student of Philosophy Department.
Proctor KM Saiful Islam Khan said that they had put a black spot on the university’s image by being involved in mugging. [Read more]
