Police was yet to receive warrant to arrest former Awami League general secretary Abdul Jalil, police sources said yesterday afternoon.
A Dhaka court on Thursday issued a warrant to arrest former Awami League general secretary Abdul Jalil in a tax evasion case.
Judge ANM Bashirullah of the Senior Special Judge’s Court passed the warrant for the ruling AL leader’s arrest in line with a case filed by Deputy Tax Commissioner Bazlur Rahman Khan.
