The decisive legal battle with arguments for overturning the High Court judgment affirming the death sentences to the five appellants in the Bangabandhu murder case kicks off Thursday in the appellate division of the Supreme Court.
On the 8th day of hearings, Barrister Abdullah Al Mamun, the counsel for condemned prisoner Maj (retd) Bazlul Huda, concluded before the five-member appellate division bench the reading out of excerpts from a bulky paper-book containing the whole case documents, including the lodging of the First Information Report (FIR) and all judgments.
