State Minister for Law Advocate Quamrul Islam yesterday said that the review committee will meet again on October 13 to taken decision on withdrawal of a good number of political cases.
Talking to reporters after a meeting with State Minister for Home Affairs Shamsul Haque Tuku at the office of the latter, he said the next meeting would take decision on political cases filed against the opposition leaders and activists during the caretaker government. Sources said the review committee meeting was scheduled to be held on October 4 but the date was deferred to October 13. [Read more]
