Detained Indian militant kingpin Emdadullah alias Mahbub was taken on a four-day remand by DB police yesterday.
Metropolitan DB police produced Emdadullah before the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Mominul Hasan in the afternoon and sought a seven-day remand for interrogation. But the court granted four-days for grilling him.
Plainclothes cops of the Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested Emdadullah from the capital on Wednesday night.
A case has been filed against him under the passport act. [Read more]
