Exodus of people in thousands to their village homes from the Dhaka city for celebrating Eid festival with their dear and near ones continued also yesterday.
Meanwhile, large number of people belonging to the minority community started leaving the capital for their village homes ahead of Durga Puja. The government and semi-government organisations will remain closed for 10 consecutive days this year for Eid festival of the Muslims and Durga Puja, a great occasion for the Hindu community.
