The Power Cell will start evaluation to select a qualified power producer company from tomorrow (August 25) for installation of 450MW Power Plant at Bibiyana in Habiganj, Director General of Power Cell Abdul Mannan said.
The power cell has already received formal letter from the Power Division to start the evaluation, he said adding “We will arrange first meeting in this regard on August 25 next”.
Seven power producing companies have submitted pre qualification statements on April 23 to get the work permit to install the power plant. [Read more]
