The holy Ramzan begins on Sunday as the Ramzan moon was not sighted anywhere in Bangladesh sky.
The decision was taken by the national moon sighting committee at a meeting here yesterday evening, an official release said yesterday.
It said the holy Lailatul Qadr will be observed on the night on September 17 (Thursday).
The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the committee and State Minister for Religious Affairs Md Shahjahan Mia. [Read more]
