Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni yesterday urged the labour receiving countries to avoid discrimination in hiring labour force from the countries like Bangladesh.
“Creating hindrances to legal migration process may encourage human trafficking,” she said and called for working together to protect the rights of the workers.
The minister was addressing the inaugural session of a two-day national consultation on “Global Forum of Migration and Development (GFDM)” at the CIRDAP auditorium in the city yesterday. [Read more]
