Savar garment labour unrest quelled, factories reopen

The labour unrest in Savar area came under control yesterday and all the garment factories, which were closed on Monday, reopened yesterday after fruitful discussion among workers, owners and law enforcing agencies.
A team of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) led by its president Abdus Salam Murshedy will be present at Savar industrial area today to oversee the situation.
