The opposition BNP has proposed five names for inclusion as neutral national level water experts in the parliamentary team, which will visit the Tipaimukh dam site in India.
The party leaders said that they would nominate their representatives in the All-Party Parliamentary team, only if the persons proposed by them are included in the delegation.
The five experts proposed by BNP are: Dr Ainun Nishat, former secretary M Asafuddoula, Dr Mustafizur Rahman Tarafder, Dr MA Rob, and Dhaka University law professor Asif Nazrul. [Read more]
