Detained former National Security Intelligence (NSI) Director Wing Commander (retd) Sahab Uddin gave 10 and a half hours long confessional statement before a court here in Chittagong arms haul case on Saturday.
Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbubur Rahman recorded the statement that started at 4.15pm on Saturday and ended at 2.35am yesterday. The Criminal Investigation Department produced him before the court at 2:30pm.

Court sources said he gave details of sources, offloading and destination of the huge cache of arms and ammunition seized at CUFL Jetty on April 02, 2004. [Read more]
