The office of the Attorney-General has reportedly completed preparations to bring back the money siphoned by some VIPs to different countries including Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Britain and USA, through Mutual Legal Assistance Request (MLAR).
Bangladesh has become a member of the international intelligence agency Egmond (Egmond Group) and has reached agreement with more than hundred countries including the USA. Moreover, three officials of FBI and the Justice Department of the USA are giving assistance to Bangladesh to bring the money back. [Read more]
