Three security guards of a garment factory sustained bullet injuries in a gun attack by unidentified assailants in the city’s Mirpur area Saturday afternoon.
The victims were identified as guard supervisor Abdul Aziz, 53, and guards Kawser Parvez, 30, and M Amzad Hossain, 30, of Epilion group.
Hospital sources said a gang of 5-6 gunmen opened fire on the trio at 1:30pm when they were performing duties at Knitwear Garment of Epilion group in Mirpur section 11.
The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. Condition of Amzad Hossain was stated to be critical. [Read more]
