Carjackers made away with the private car of State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Jahangir Kabir Nanak’s private secretary after shooting its diver at Uttara in the city on Saturday night.
The driver’s family sources said three to four youths stopped the car at Sector-6 in Uttara and got into it when he was coming to Agargaon staff quarter after dropping Nanak’s PS Motiur Rahman at about 10:30 pm.
The carjackers took control of the car and took the driver to Savar EPZ area. They shot and wounded the driver Kabir, 30, before fleeing with the car. [Read more]
