Indian Foreign Secretary Shiv Shankar Menon’s sudden and surprise visit to Dhaka surprised many as the Foreign Ministry kept the media completely in the dark about such an important trip from a neighboring country.
Even his meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Jamuna yesterday evening was included in the itinerary at the eleventh hour, it was learnt.
