The government yesterday replaced 23 deputy commissioners, in another district-level shuffle of administration.
They have been posted back to the establishment ministry until their next appointments, while 23 deputy secretary-level civil servants take their places, said a government order.
Chandpur, Kishorganj, Khagrachhari, Jamalpur, Sherpur, Bagerhat, Kushtia, Magura, Joypurhat, Sunamganj, Nilfamari, Gaibandha, Bandarban, Brahminbaria, Cox’s Bazar, Gopalganj, Jhenaidah, Jhalkathi, Sathkhira, Panchagarh, Rajbari, Thakurgaon and Gazipur are the 23 districts getting new DCs.
