At least 15 people were injured yesterday in a clash between two factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on the Jagannath University campus.
Witnesses said the clash broke out at about 11 am when some activists of Parvez group of BCL resisted Samrat, a supporter Khokon group, as he assaulted a girl of the college, leaving the 15 BCL boys injured.
On information, police rushed in and brought the situation under control.
Among the injured, Mizanur Rahman, Shaheen, Jamal, Babu Roy, Sohel, Faruq and Onil were admitted o National Medical College Hospital. [Read more]
