Director General of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) Brigadier General Mainul Islam yesterday called upon the BDR jawans to restore confidence in chain-of-command in the paramilitary force.
“I call upon you to bring back confidence to regain hundred years glory of the force,” the new BDR chief said while exchanging views with BDR jawans of Kamalpur border out post (BOP) under Bakshiganj upazila of the district here.
It was his first visit after taking charge as director general of the paramilitary force after the gruesome killings of army officers at Pilkhana BDR headquarters in Dhaka on February 25-26. [Read more]
