Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) does not know how many high rise (above 10-storey) buildings in the city and whether these building have their own system to douse fire.
“We have to look into it. We will work on it from tomorrow (Sunday). It may take one or two days,” said a senior officer of the RAJUK yesterday preferring anonymity.
Asked whether high rise buildings have their own fire safety measures, mandatory to get the architectural drawing, he however, said that the Fire Brigade is responsible to look into it. [Read more]
