Eid-e-Miladunnabi will be observed across the country today with due religious fervour to mark the birth and death anniversary of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SM).
On this day, the 12th of Rabiul Awal of the Hijri calendar, Hajrat Muhammad (SM) was born with divine blessings and message of peace for the mankind.
He also passed away on the same day.
Government, political parties and various religious and socio-cultural organisations have chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the day, which is a public holiday. [Read more]
