State Minister for Home Affairs Tanzim Ahmed Sohel who is now in USA on a personal visit will return home this week under a revised schedule. He was earlier scheduled to arrive in Dhaka yesterday.

Talking to The New Nation source close to the junior minister said the spinal cord of the state minister was damaged due to police action during BNP-Jamaat government tenure.

“He has to receive physical treatment regularly for this after a specific period of time. He is now in the USA for receiving physical treatment and will definitely come back by next Thursday,” he said. [Read more]
